Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is totally different to Stage Hypnosis which is purely for entertainment. When under hypnosis the client is able to get up and leave at any time, is always in control and cannot be made to do or say anything they don’t want to. Hypnosis is a trance like state that we all go into several times a day – when driving the car and can’t remember parts of the journey (on auto pilot), daydreaming (away with the fairies) and yet when in this relaxed state we are totally aware of our surroundings at all times.
